Head cold today took a turn for the 'no, I just give up.' Took the day off work and curled up on the couch.
What's the best thing for being sick? Comfort food books. Today it was Wolf Speaker by Tamora Pierce. I have loved these books since I was 12 and reread everything Tamora Pierce has written about once a year. Because I have a problem.

Sign of a true addict. I arrive at work earlier than Aryn, which means I finish before he does. We decided to go see Duplicity tonight and rather than walk home and rush to make supper then eat it, and then rush to the early show, instead I traveled up 12 floors to his office and I entertained myself while he finished up for the day. I had been reading materials all day so my concentration was shot. I tried to read a book, I organized the receipts in my wallet, but I was restless. At one point I lamented how I should have brought my knitting with me and I mimed knitting with my fingers. Aryn took pity on me and found these shoelaces in his desk drawer and then two sharpies that I substituted for knitting needles. Suddenly I was at peace. Knitting is very relaxing you know. Even if what I was using was hilariously ridiculous.
