It was 35 below that morning many years ago when I talked my wife into coming with me on a railfan outing. We met up with some other fans on the west end of the Staples Sub. This manifest climbing out of the Red River Valley was making his way around the S-curve at Lake Park shortly after we arrived. I do miss those days.

1 Minute Exposure

Another pinhole shot from the Guillemins train station. This was my attempt at a long exposure self portrait. After I set up my tripod and began the exposure, I walked around to the top of the escalators and stood still. Close to the end of the exposure I walked back to the camera and closed the shutter (Basically, I was standing still for about 30 seconds). If you look closely, you can see me right in the middle of the image. The train on the left was stationary and the one on the right was pulling into the station.
