there is nothing I'm more aware of than how fragile I am.
Today is one of those days where I feel like the world is against me and lately that's all the time...school is over on friday, I don't know if it's a good thing or not, I need to pass junior year.
for everyone who is wondering what is written on my hand its talking about how fragile and breakable we are. I also wrote on my fingers "this will all be worth it, keep going" to motivate myself to finish writing all over my hand.

19 years ago I was awakened by a crisis. Today we face another crisis. Our Mayor eased the lockdown restrictions allowing people to go to the beaches alone. With that limited freedom, I captured the 9/11 sunrise from a familiar location. Aloha.

The staircase shows, it is nine. And that is right, this building has nine floors.
How that can be? Because, I am not stand in the 1. floor. ;-)
As the quarry developed it encompass 14 underground levels, numbered from the top downwards, with a total of 170 chambers from which the slate was won.
The Main buildings shown in the previous photos are on the hillside where level 9 comes out.

EDIT: and and because it's Iceland, 40 minutes later it was dark as pitch and raining heavily -- go figure! and that rain fell as new snow on the mountains...
