Today's hunt was in a swathed barley field the geese had been feeding in for at least a week. EASY limit (32) of dark geese by 7:15. Highlight of the morning was a speck/blue cross that was taken. Neat looking bird....it'll end up on the wall for sure. Later that afternoon, we set the guys up on a pothole for a duck shoot. Not a ton of birds, but they managed to bag 16 mallards and pintail. Shooters were Mike, Layne, Steve, and Rick.

I ♥ knee socks. And guitars. Except I can't play them. And I am wearing shorts, you creepers :P

In Turkish, home is known as “yurt,” which also refers to a portable tent used by nomadic tribes in Central Asia. This idea that home doesn’t need to be rooted in one particular place, but rather, taken with us wherever we go became apparent to me while I was traveling in Turkey. The hospitality of the people, the stunning landscapes, and the diversity of the people, are all factors I consider when calling a place “home.” This moment, captured by a friendly local who offered to show me around his city, made me realize how fluid home can really be.
