Everyone no doubt remembers where they were on 9/11 2001, when the horrific events of the day unfolded live on TV.
Nearly a year ago we were fortunate enough to visit NYC and ground zero; a very moving experience.
A time to reflect and remember.

Dlouhá Třebová ll 163 035-9 z pociągiem towarowym w kierunku Ústí nad Orlicí. Przed erą ETCS jakoś ładniej było na torach :)

Count them - 3 GP9's B&O/B&O/WM head a southbound CSX train at Deshler, Ohio in January 1985 near sundown.
Day 9 shot for the April group. This was peeking out of hedge as I walked past with the dogs. No other blossom anywhere near - I just had to photograph it. 😊

BECKY FALLS, a place that rarely lives up to it`s name, following the endless run of storms it as reached a spectacular sight. Be warned though, the water flow can be very disappointing and entrance fees are very high, if you think that you can avoid paying, parking is very difficult !!!!!

So wurde im Herbst 2012 die KBS 395 bei DSO betitelt.
Tatsächlich wurde zu der Zeit das Gros der Güterzüge zwischen Emden und Osnabrück mit Loks der Baureihen 232 und 233 - auch bekannt als Ludmillas - bespannt.
Der Grund dafür waren umfangreiche Bauarbeiten im Bahnhof Leer, die auch das Abschalten der Oberleitung erforderlich machte.
Am 9. November 2012 röhrt 232 255 mit dem Mittagsmischer von Emden nach Osnabrück und wird bei Bahnkilometer 318,0 bildlich festgehalten.
Een paar foto's terug liet ik een dia zien van de nog grijze Class 66 met tijdelijk nummer ER9. Op 13 november 2005 tref ik de loc voor het eerst in zijn mooie ACTS jas en nu rijdend onder het nummer 513-9. De loc zal een paar jaar later ook nog het nieuwe ACTS jasje krijgen nadat hij in dit jasje een zware ontmoeting had met een treinstel Plan V.
De loc rijdt hier ter hoogte van Loon (ten noorden van Assen) met de zondagse Veendamshuttle 60249 uit Veendam naar het Rotterdamse. Het is even over 15.00 uur en het is in deze tijd van het jaar dan alweer bijna in het licht van een ondergaande zon.

I didn't pick up my camera once this whole week until my newborn session on Saturday. I am loving photographing newborns - they don't talk back, lol. I would love some cc about this one if anyone is willing.
Anyway, this doesn't really work with any of the 52 Week themes for last week but I've got nothing else
