20th anniversary celebrations
On November 9, 2009, Berlin will celebrate the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall with a "Festival of Freedom", during which over 1,000 foam domino tiles over 8 feet tall will be stacked along the former route of the wall in the city center and toppled.
In the United States, the German Embassy is coordinating a public diplomacy campaign with the motto "Freedom Without Walls" to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall. The campaign is focused on promoting awareness of the fall of the Berlin Wall among current college students, and students at over 20 universities will participate in "Freedom Without Walls" events in late 2009.
LR-8482 - Don't know much about Golf, but heard the phrase nine iron, so it's made of iron and it has a nine on it, reckon that's what it must be.
Stay in a hotel at the weekend, staff excellent and wonderful service, the room well that's was another issue but the grounds were amazing, well kept together, 18 hole golf course and a small putting green, featured here in the early morning light still covered in dew as the sunlight struggle through the trees to clear it,
Frame #9 - "Reflectory" in Leuven
Every day these ladies spend a blinkless eternity staring across the square at Sint-Pieterskerk, seen reflected in the pane of glass that encases them, in the city of Leuven, Belgium. They may get to wear a different fabulous outfit every week, but their view seldom changes.

Not a lot of camera activities this week. First picture in the project that is not self portrait. This is my brother, Aung. Check out the comment for the Original, shot with JPEG. As you can see, SOOC is pretty bad. I worked with it and this is what I got.
Similar to the BR HST, XPT 9 City of Canberra seen at Sydney Central, NSW Australia on 13th February 1990
This week's weekly Clone Pic is dedicated to those who lost their lives and loved ones on 9/11. It killed thousands of people and affected millions. I salute those who gave their lives to stop the terrorist attack.

" no smile? ok"
He was strolling at a leisurely pace along orchard road when I spotted him. The very first thing I noticed was the symmetry on his face.

365 Project: Day 9
These are my tennis shoes. I struggle every day to put them on. They beckon for me no matter where they are in the house—from the moment I roll out of bed until the moment I crawl back in at night. We could be on opposite ends of the earth, and I know I’d still hear them calling.
Sometimes...
•I plug my ears and go, “la la la la,” and pretend I don’t hear anything.
•I go over and pick them up, sigh, and throw them in the corner against the wall.
•I’m riddled with unrelenting guilt when I ignore them.
Sometimes...
•I feel like such a hypocrite when people ask me how I’m so disciplined.
•I feel like such a fraud because I struggle just like everyone else.
•I don’t even want to get out of bed.
Sometimes...
•I’m stressed out and cry for no reason.
•I’m crabby and I don’t know why.
•I feel like frumpty dumpty.
Sometimes...
•I want to not feel guilty for my sweet tooth.
•I want to lose that last X amount of pounds.
•Those “Sometimes...” moments make me not want to be around me.
Sometimes...
•I just don’t WANNA!
Sometimes the only solution to any of these ailments is to make a decision to lace up my tennis shoes, be the boss of my body, and make it sweat... a lot. I’m always glad when I do.
Psalm 27:14 ~ Stay with God! Take heart. Don't quit. I'll say it again: Stay with God.
1 Cor. 9:26-27 ~ I don't know about you, but I'm running hard for the finish line. I'm giving it everything I've got. No sloppy living for me! I'm staying alert and in top condition. I'm not going to get caught napping, telling everyone else all about it and then missing out myself.

lamp containing two rotating films inside it. the inner (opaque) film depicts the pre 9/11 skyline of new york city while the transparent outer one has a number of helicopters, boats, paragliders and one passenger jet imprinted on it. the films rotate at different speeds and every 2 minutes or so the passenger jet seems to fly into the twin towers (actually it passes in front of them).
Project Runway Jewelry Challenge, Season 9, episode 1
Come as you are; EtsyMetal Interpretation - the challenge this week is to make something only from material that is sitting on your bench!
I used a blue lace agate druzy cab and the 22 gauge sheet silver from my bench. I added a bit of tubing from my scrap jar and fine silver bezel wire, which I cut in scallops, and a sterling neck wire.
