Thought I would do an image for 9-11. RIP to all the people killed and I hope your families and friends will be able to find closure at some point in life. You will never be forgotten. This day will never be forgotten.

What is: The pathway down to the River site.
What was: In 1955, the body found here was declared dead but became subject of much speculation. Was it really Emmett Till; perhaps it was someone else planted by the NAACP to cause trouble; was it really a black man; the deterioration so significant that the body could not have been in the water just 3 days. All of this is what gave the jury the “shadow of a doubt” argument for acquittal. As a result of a reopening of the case in 2004 and an exhumation and official autopsy, the FBI reported: “Following the June 2, 2005 autopsy of the body removed from the gravesite alleged to contain the remains of Emmett Till evidence collected was processed and forwarded to the laboratory. The Anatomic Diagnosis: 1) Gunshot wound to the head 2) Multiple comminuted skull fractures 3) multiple lead fragments recovered from head and skull 4) fractures of the right and left wrist bones 5) fracture of the distal left femur 6) embalmed body with numerous venting incisions in the skin and floor of mouth 7) missing left upper central incisor with open socket. The Medical Examiners Opinion: Emmett Louis Till died of a gunshot wound of the head. Manner of death: homicide. You can read the Full 2006 FBI Report here: vault.fbi.gov/Emmett%20Till%20

Einer der zwei Gedenkbrunnen des 9/11 Memorial. Diese Denkmal ist wirklich beeindruckend. An den Stellen der zerstörten Türme befinden zwei Wasserbecken. Am Rande fällt das Wasser 9 Meter in die Tiefe. Es sind die größten von Menschen geschaffenen Wasserfälle der USA
It doesn’t look like much but boy does it hurt. We actually accomplished so much today. Things that have been on the back burner for so long. Steve traced the landscaping wire and found a break in the line. So now all the landscape lights work. We also cut out a couple tree bushes that had crunched our tree irrigation. Repaired the crunch so now all the trees on the mountain can get watered. AND we dug deeper moats so the water stays put. Very accomplished but very tired.
