I was lucky enough to get a special tour of the Pentagon the other day. This was taken inside the chapel they have set up at the crash site.

A bit of a departure from the norm for me but I wanted to create something unique for my little boy's room. His toys seemed the logical place to start, followed by a box of matches and a torch. This is actually three photos blended together in Elements and I'm really happy with the result.

El panteón de la Condesa de la Vega del Pozo y Duquesa de Sevillano es un monumento construido entre 1882 y 1916 en la ciudad española de Guadalajara, por encargo de doña María Diega Desmaissières y Sevillano, condesa de la Vega del Pozo y duquesa de Sevillano, en honor de su padre y familiares fallecidos años antes para ser enterrados en el mismo. Forma parte del conjunto monumental de la fundación de San Diego de Alcalá.
Fue edificado por el arquitecto burgalés Ricardo Velázquez Bosco, muy conocido en su momento por las obras que llevó a cabo en la restauración de la mezquita de Córdoba y por otras muchas obras de renombre como el Palacio de Cristal del Retiro de Madrid. La decoración exterior de la cúpula, realizada con tejas de reflejos metálicos en forma de escamas es obra del ceramista Daniel Zuloaga, miembro de una ilustre familia de artistas a la que perteneció también su sobrino el pintor Ignacio Zuloaga. Daniel Zuloaga realizó la obra desde 1893 hasta 1906, y trabajó con Velázquez Bosco en varios edificios más, entre los que destacan el Palacio de Velázquez, la Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingenieros de Minas de Madrid y el Palacio de Cristal, todos ellos en Madrid.1
Estilo y descripción
Es de un estilo ecléctico historicista, muy utilizado a finales del siglo XIX, mezcla de varios, como el neorrománico-lombardo de sus fachadas, la decoración a base de mosaicos bizantinos en su interior, y la decoración mudéjar de sus capiteles internos.
El panteón, en planta de cruz griega, está dividido en dos plantas, la superior dedicada al culto, donde se destaca la pintura sobre madera de un Cristo crucificado y la falsa cripta donde se encuentra un monumento sepulcral central, compuesto por dos cuerpos donde está enterrada la duquesa, obra del escultor modernista Ángel García Díaz, y en nichos, sus parientes más cercanos.
Cuando falleció dicha señora, no dejó descendencia directa, teniendo que hacerse cargo de dicho edificio y anexos la congregación de las Hermanas Adoratrices fundada por su tía Santa María Micaela del Santísimo Sacramento.

Lokomotywa w dniu 27.06.2024 roku prowadząc pociąg EC 279 tej samej relacji na przejeździe kolejowym niedaleko miejscowości Nové Zámky uderzyła w przejeżdżający autobus. Uderzenie wywołało pożar, który znacząco uszkodził lokomotywę. W zdarzeniu śmierć poniosło 7 osób.

On 27.06.2024, while leading the EC 279 train on the same route at a railway crossing near Nové Zámky, the locomotive hit a passing bus. The impact caused a fire that significantly damaged the locomotive. Seven people died in the incident.
IC 1000 leads train L536 out of Glenn Yard to Kirk Yard, passing the derelict Chicago & Alton-era signal cantilever at Corwith.

"Why were you guys-"
I wince with pain as I lean back a little, taking my hand off of Justin (Elastic)'s and place my elbows down onto the pavement. The pain from my cuts still burns hot, as the sun attempts to shine through the cloudy sky.
"-Why were y'all trying to destroy the billboard?"
J: "Well, Lucy doesn't like the idea of ranking heroes. She thinks it's discriminatory towards everyone to say that one person is better than another."
"Do you agree with her?"
J: "I just kind of go along with her, since she's my girlfriend. I wanna be supportive, you know?"
"I guess I can understand that."
I look over to Lucy (Forge), who keeps feeling her, now swollen, lip from when I punched her.
"Couldn't you just voice your concerns? Or start a...petition or something?"
L: "Are you hearing yourself, right now?"
"Yeah they're not gonna take everything down just 'cause a couple people don't agree..."
L: "I really do feel like it's messed up to be like, 'Hey look at these people, they're better than you!' How is that helping anybody?"
"It could motivate people to do more and try their best to continue becoming better."
L: "Shouldn't helping people be their motivation? Not their edgy alter ego name up on a billboard."
"Dang...I can't argue with that logic, at all."
S: "Yeah, that really makes you think."
She chuckles a little, and puts her hand back to her lip because of the pain.
"I really popped you, huh?"
L: "I gotta be honest, I-"
Both of us: "Didn't see that one comin'."
We all laugh and I grunt a little bit as it inflames the cuts across my chest.
L: "That reminds me, am I a good kisser, or what?"
"Considering you're the first girl to actually kiss me, yes you're amazing at it."
J: "Why are you guys doing this to me?"
Both of us: "Because it's fun!"
Lisa and I look at each other with wide eyes and big smiles.
"We're so in sync!"
L: "Two for two, dude!"
S: "This is really entertaining to watch, if I'm being honest."
J: "Oh yeah, what were you thinking when I punched you through that window...I didn't catch your name?"
S: "It's Wavelength. But you can call me Scott, and considering I hit the wall under the window with my legs, I was thinking, 'Ow.'"
Justin chuckles and puts his right hand on his temple.
"What's wrong?"
J: "Ah I have a pretty bad headache from hitting that car."
He gestures back to one of the cars that are behind us. I look back and see a large dent in the hood of the red pickup truck that's parked behind us.
"Wow, you really hit it hard, didn't you?"
J: "Yeah, I'm pretty sure I have a major concussion. That probably helped add to the throwing up."
L: "Don't expect to be getting kissed until you disinfect that nastiness, by the way."
J: "I still can't believe you kissed him."
"Haha neither can I!"
Justin looks at me, disapprovingly.
