Week 9, February 24 - March 2:
We spent Wednesday 'til Friday in Frankfurt am Main, exploring the city, shopping, visiting the German Architecture Museum and literally standing on top of the world. The skyline was fascinating, especially at night. Standing on one of the many bridges, metres above the river Main, overlooking one of Germany's largest cities is a sight I'll never forget. (More and more.)
I'll be doing an internship at an engineering office for the next 5 weeks (aka until the new semester starts) starting tomorrow. Just thought I'd let you know. It might affect my creativity, which - frankly speaking - I seem to have buried a while ago anyway. But enough for that... I'd love to know what you guys have been up to?!

I merged nine images of tonight's moon taken @ two minute intervals. I was expecting an arched image, but got a perfectly straight line. All part of our camera club experiment..
I mentioned a while back I am going through a Pano film phase. This is from my Horizon Perfekt swing lens camera with expired Fuji Xtera 400 film. Something about this format I love... cant replicate the digital. Took 400 today with the D3, 24 with this camera and there was no comparison in terms of the emotion of the shots.. I am sure it is just a phase. Hope all is well
This September 11th, I went downtown to see the Memorial site and to remember those who fell on that tragic final day of the World Trade Center.
Although this is the 13th anniversary of 9/11, this was my first time going there. In fact, except for one day last week, this was my first time in this area since the towers fell. I didn't have any family members or friends who were involved in the tragedy but, just the same, I had strong emotions about it and, after 9/11 happened, I found myself starting to avoid this part of the city. It was not a conscious decision to purposely stay away, more like other areas around Manhattan had suddenly became much more interesting to me. The longer I stayed away, the easier it became not to return.
As I look back on it now, I think that by staying away from, and not seeing, the 9/11 site, I didn't have to think about it or deal with the emotions or feelings it brought out. I knew, of course, that it really happened but, if I never saw it, it didn't really seem like something that had happened right here in my home town. Avoidance is not a good thing though, and I'm glad I finally got over it and was able to come to terms with the horrible events of that day. Now, I'd like to visit downtown again sometime soon. I feel like I've been missing so much. It's good to be back!
Sorry that the commentary for this shot seemed to ramble on so much. If you made it this far, thank you so much for your time.

Back in April 1988 I went on a bus hunting adventure which included a visit to the Halton bus depot in Widnes where I photographed Leyland Leopard / East Lancs B52F 9 JFV295N. This bus was new in 1975 with a rare East Lancs coach body but was rebodied by East Lancs along with twin 8 JFV294N in 1983.

I was at the Range the other day testing my new M&P Shield 9mm, by Smith&Wesson (bottom picture). The target shown was shot with my Sig Sauer SP2022 9mm (top). I had some Winchester 115 grain white box ammo, I wanted to get rid of (I prefer Federal). There was a leftover silhouette target on my lane, with no head shots when I arrived. I took the 100 round box; put 30 rounds in the head and the rest (70 rounds) in this target at 7 yards, 1 second or less intervals. The Sig I have dialed in; it’s extremely accurate, love the ergonomics, weight, balance and the trigger feels better than a P226, or 229. My daughter and I will text pictures to each other from our day at a range. It’s a sport we enjoy together and she is an excellent shot.
The M&P Shield is just as accurate at 7-10 yards, is less than 1 inch thin and a great carry and conceal pistol. Smith&Wesson rates the trigger pull at 6.5 lbs, but this one is closer to 8. Its striker fired, short and crisp, I put 450 rounds through it that day and it took its toil on my finger. I’ll drop in an Apex sear in it and get it down to about 4.5 lbs; then this little Shield will be perfection. The 7 round magazine, shown inserted flush in the pistol, is a little too short for my hand. This may be great for smaller hands. The 8 round magazines shown on each side are perfect. You know what they say about a man with big hands; he wears big gloves.
So often I’m so consumed by Gang Stalking, Community Staking and Workplace Mobbing, I forget to live. One of their main goals is to prevent a Target from any enjoyment. This is me living, enjoying and sharing the things I love. It is not a post to intimidate, threaten or bully; I do not condone violence. The parasites involved in Gang Stalking have the market on those.
Since I purchased these two pistols; the halfwits and simpletons (involved in Gang Stalking) are having hissy-fits. I’m sure the powers that be; are spreading propaganda and paranoia throughout the communities. They will use fear, propaganda, lies, intimidation, innuendoes any means to persuade people to terrorize a Target. A lot of people find this hard to believe; that people are willing to stoop so low, but they will. Take a look at how cruel and vindictive people can be online; there are true haters out there. You can find them on Facebook, blogs, chat rooms all over the internet. They hide behind anonymity; thinking they can say and do anything without retribution. You take these people, misfits and others you would categorize as normal; tell them a person in their community, neighborhood or workplace is a threat. You tell them this person is a sexual predator, a child molester, a drug dealer, mentally ill or a terrorist. Tell them this person needs to be watched, monitored, harassed, terrorized, incarcerated or forced to leave. You rally these people with a common cause and they will do almost anything. This is done in neighborhoods, in public, in the workplace and in our government. It is done by corporations, our government and self-anointed sociopaths.
I commend those that serve their communities, their country and government. But, to do so by violating citizens’ rights, lying, intimidating, bullying, terrorizing, mobbing; this is so wrong. This is not who we are, but is what we are becoming as a nation. You won’t see this on your local or national news networks.
My name is Rick Pineiro; I’m a Targeted individual, a father, a veteran and am not afraid to tell the truth.
Help me expose Gang Stalking, Community Stalking and Workplace Mobbing.
