La Galleria Grande, che collegava l’appartamento del re a quello dell’erede al trono, è uno degli ambienti più sorprendenti e spettacolari dell’intero complesso. Il suo ricchissimo apparato decorativo si deve alla mano di Pietro Filippo Somasso, Giuseppe Bolina, Antonio Papa e Giovambattista Sanbartolomeo.
Anche le dimensioni della Galleria sono del tutto ragguardevoli con un’altezza al centro volta di circa 15 metri, una lunghezza di circa 80 metri ed una larghezza di 12 metri.
Durante l’occupazione francese il pavimento originario fu smontato e riutilizzato per la Galleria del Beaumont a Torino, mentre l’attuale, che riprende quello del disegno juvarriano, è stato realizzato nel 1995.

My 365 project in 2026. Camera: Sony.
A daily photography project for one year.
One image per day, capturing both ordinary and meaningful moments.
The photos don’t have to be taken on the same day, but must be taken within the last 7 days.

This project is about consistency, observation, and staying connected to photography.

The 367-80 was a prototype aircraft developed to prove Boeing's ability to produce a jet airliner and aerial refueling tanker. It's one of my favorite aircraft at the Udvar-Hazy center.
The model is at ~1/64 scale, similar to last year's B-52 and RC-2 airliner. It took about a month and a half to build, and it's my second largest aircraft at 3,355 parts.
