I enjoy photographing old bridges, and this one was no exception. It's builder (John Roebling) is better known for his work in building the Brooklyn Bridge in New York City. While we were in Cincinnati, this bridge was closed to vehicular traffic. However, pedestrians could still cross the bridge - which I did to get a view of the Cincinnati skyline.
I recently found this smartphone snapshot on my phone and the more I look at it the better I like it.
So I thought it's posting worthy...

For the Macro Mondays theme "Shadow". This is the shadow cast by shining a mobile phone LED light through a measuring/marking tool (essentially a perforated metal sheet). The 4 rows of staggered dots allow you to mark to a precision of 1/64th off an inch. The vertical size of the frame is more than 2 inches and well less than 3. HMM!
