my photo from yesterday reached 100 favorites in one day
this has never happened to me before, and i really want to thank you all so much.
this reminds me a bit of my old photos
Thanks to some tips from a group of friends, when things went south on a chase of the Delaware Lackawanna PO-74, I was able to intercept the return trip of a Reading & Northern OCS turn from Jim Thorpe. There was some waiting involved but it was a good time with friends old and new in some great early Fall-like weather.
Here the former NS executive Fs bang across the CTC switch at Haucks where the line to Hazleton splits off.

Aimed for home in Scranton, Delaware-Lackawanna train PO-74 swings around a curve as it makes its exit of Pocono Summit, PA. The train, headed up by the last C-636 in existence, only has one quick set out before a straight shot back home. The single covered hopper behind the quintet of Alco and MLW products will get drop a little way up the railroad in Mt. Pocono.
