Der beschauliche Haltepunkt Beuggen an der Hochrheinbahn zwischen Basel und Konstanz strahlte bis Ende April 2026 noch ein deutlichen Bundesbahncharme aus, der nur durch wenige Details in die Neuzeit geholt wurde.
So hätte man hier durchaus eine V100 mit Silberlingen erwarten können.
An jenem 20. März 2026 waren es die Ulmer 612 019 und 612 113 als RE 3050 (Singen - Basel Bad Bf) welche den Haltepunkt ohne Halt durcheilten.
Gut einen Monat später war dieser Anblick dann Geschichte, als die Elektrifizierung der Hochrheinbahn starte und damit auch die umfassende Modernisierung zahlreicher Bahnhöfe und Haltepunkten.
Damit verschwinden auch die 612er nach 8 Jahren Einsatz, gleichzeitig endet auch der GNT Einsatz, welche mit der Baureihe 611 hier begonnen wurde.

Spitsbergen / Svalbard, Day Seven, June 22, 2016: Fuglefjord, Sallyhamna, Virgohamna, Smeerenburgbreen, Gullybukta.
This was an amazing sight – a group of three Arctic terns chased a Glaucous gull over 500 meters to drive it away. The Glaucous gull is the biggest avian predator in Svalbard, and preys on the chicks of other birds.
All the birds were flying at top speed and covered a huge distance in a very short time. I managed to get a dozen good shots before they got too far away. Here are some of the shots.
