Week 53 in 52 Weeks for Dogs and true to form Tasku's main intent with her new toy from Santa Paws is to try to destroy it. Fortunately, Chuckits are quite tough and by limiting the time she has it for, so far it's still intact.

Seit Mitte Oktober 2021 ist er Geschichte, der verbliebene Rest-Güterverkehr auf der WLE-Strecke Beckum-Münster. Bis dahin fuhr nach Bedarf eine Lok der WLE bis zu vier Gaskesselwagen am Nachmittag zur Westfalen AG in Münster-Gremmendorf. Dabei ging es gemütlich und kaum schneller als 30 Km/h durchs ländlich geprägte Münsterland. Das vorherzusehende Ende dieser Verkehre, welches übrigens aus einem Standortwechsel der Westfalen AG mit einhergehender Schließung des Standorts in Gremmendorf resultiert, ließ sich auch anhand des Zustands der Infrastruktur erkennen. Mittelfristig hat die Strecke aber wohl immerhin im SPNV wieder eine Chance, jedenfalls im Abschnitt Münster-Sendenhorst, wo ab 2025 der Betrieb aufgenommen werden soll. Ob zeitnah oder überhaupt wieder Güterverkehr auf der herrlichen Nebenbahn abgewickelt wird, ist mehr als fraglich...
