My entry to "Looking close...on Friday" came as a surprise. I posted this photo without knowing of this week's subject. I think this pic shows the beautiful texture of the Clematis flower.

This is how a big Clematis flower looks when it is time to emerge from the stem with a new bud ;-)
This photo was taken in the Spring. Right now the garden is almost bare, other than a few roses here and there :-)

Das einzigste weiße Lomo Zebra des Tages an der Brenner Südrampe konnte ich mit dem Winner-KLV an der klassischen Fotostelle bei Salurn ablichten.
628 440 passiert in den letzten Sonnenstrahlen des Tages das Einfahrsignal Fridolfing auf seiner Reise als RB 27988 von Salzburg nach Mühldorf.
Mittlerweile Geschichte sind die Einsätze der Baureihe 440 auf der Strecke Treuchtlingen - Würzburg. Im August vergangenen Jahres war davon noch nichts zu spüren. 440 321 fuhr an diesem Sommerabend durchs Maintal und wird in Kürze Würzburg erreichen.

Auch der dreiteilige 440 410 zeigte sich auf seiner Fahrt als ag84187 von Neumarkt(Oberpf) nach Plattling auf der imposanten Talbrücke.

Aufgrund von Bauarbeiten nahm TEC 41855 den Weg über Passau und Wels, um nach Tarvisio und weiter nach Triest zu gelangen. 186 440 bespannte den zum Großteil aus Tankcontainern beladenen KLV und konnte bei Ingling abgelichtet werden.
