and yes i know about the horizon distortion but i kinda like the bend there, and i leave it like this:)

This, more dramatic, but way noisier and too sharp (in my opinion), is from Nik's Silver Effects, and results from using one of the filters they have.

Wochenthema der 2. Woche war das Thema Eyes / Augen. Hier meine Interpretation dieses Themas.
Das Foto ist aus der Hand geschossen worden, also ohne zuhilfenahme eines Stativs
Día de los Difuntos. Hoy, no ayer, día de Todos los Santos, que es otra cosa muy distinta.
La gente anda confundida con el puñetero Halloween, cosa germano-americana, y ahora el Samain, exclusivamente irlandesa, celta gaélico. En Galicia se hablaba celta galaico, bastante diferente. El Galaico es lengua muerta; el Gaélico todavía se habla en Irlanda, Escocia, Gales y Bretaña.
Aquí siempre fue "A Noite de Difuntos", con calabazas, sí, pero sin disfraces, la madrugada del día 2. Las familias se reunían a cenar en recuerdo de sus antepasados. Sin caralladas carnavalescas.

Once again, the notion for my personal challenge is to make something interesting out of what is there and not depend on the colors of the setting sun. This is the third of my attempt.
We are about 2/3 of the way through winter. I crafted this shot so that two thirds of the land mass would show winter and represent that notion. The sky in the image was 90 degrees from the sun so my polarizing filter worked its magic and made the clouds pop on the horizon.
I love sunflowers and each year I grow them in my front garden to cheer up passers-by. This year they grew to over 12ft tall. This is one of the smaller sunflower seed head, which has now been placed out for the birds.
Taken with a Sony A6000 and Sony FE 2.8/90 len.
1/100 of the 100 project where 100 is going to be "still life'. I like to choose the 100 to challenge me technically. I did mono urban architecture last year and didn't enjoy it as much as I wished, so let us hope this one is more fun.
