I had a derby practice this morning. We did jumping drills for 2 hours. It was fun, but also a little tricky. After I got home and got cleaned up we went out for a little 2+ mile walk and ended up walking to get Jamba Juice. After spending a few hours home just chilling out, we decided to walk to the Food Truck Social that was going on a little north of us. So another 3-ish miles in the evening. It was a good calorie burning day. It was so beautiful out that we had to get out and enjoy it. We won't have many of these days left.

I promise, this one is funny. I was walking two friends back from a party, they had both been drinking and this was after I had began my sobriety. About 2:30 AM, we had left said party. While on a path behind Worthen Arena, I decided that it was a good idea to give my friend Kristyn a piggy-back ride. I made the terrible mistake of thinking it would be a grand idea to run with her on my back. Not so much. Four steps later I land face first in the sidewalk. I could literally feel a chunk of sidewalk in my forehead. An emergency room visit, two hours, and three stitches later we finally went home.
