VIA #2 had just dropped off a relief crew for us, after we sat in Allanwater siding for a number of hours. Our engineers reached their hours of service after dealing with a washout during the night.

Waves 4-6m now, later in the night the water came on the balcony.
The ship took a lot of snow and ice and it really rocked on the last night before we reached NYC

2-Na parte da cidade histórica de Porto Seguro, existe um dos pontos de vista da paisagem maravilhosa do mar. Aí está a Flávia, dando seu pulo e quase parando no ar de felicidade em avistar o mar de Porto Seguro.

The first time i have missed the Lammas Fair in 4 years...but it was a far, far better thing that i did....
On the way it purely chucked it down and we were wondering if we had done the right thing; we had. Coming over Glenshane (gorgeous in all its shades of purple, green and sheep) the sky in front of us was changing from grey/black blech to it 'might not rain for the afternoon' mildly blue and there was even a hint of 'it could be sunny'!
Had a blast, this place ranks only with Belfast, my photographic home. I filled a card and could have filled another. We are talking BACK in the next week or 2 so watch out James and PJ, me and the hub are about to Explore!
My feckin' hip was not performing to the best today, walked the walls, hills were mountains, coveted a pair of crutches, sat at the wee fountsinnear the Pound shop thingy, shot for Derry/Larne/Ireland etc etc, so heres my take on today...I want to go further. Hope it worked.
OK, so this isn't the most dramatic angle; it's more of an accompanying shot to fully show the property. However, it's my first use of a tilt shift lens for RE work...so I'm excited! I love the ability to shift perspective for RE work, and when the money is flowing in I'd like to pick up my own 24mm.
