Circa 1972. My friend had just finished washing his 1966 Mustang 2+2.

In the background, a 1969 Chevrolet Camaro, a Fiat 850 and apparently a VW Type 2 T1 Microbus on Pansy Street near Fir Avenue.

Stranger #2 - I met him on campus of University of California, Santa Barbara. He was training soccer at one of the lawns there. He was very friendly and immediatly agreed to take a portrait of him. He also asked wether it's not the problem that his face is sweaty. Of course it's not because it adds some character to this shot :)

This picture is #2 in my 100 strangers project. Find out more about the project and see pictures taken by other photographers at the 100 Strangers Flickr Group page

My buddy and I went draining in downtown Des Moines.

I met Dana, her boyfriend Alex and her sister Erin today. I drove about an hour and a half to meet them and we spent pretty much the whole day together. We met at noon and then had lunch, followed by Target. Afterwards, I followed them downtown where we walked around and took pictures. We then drove over to "Antique Alley" and walked around antique stores and what not for a while. Then, it was off to the park for a bit. It was Miss Erin's birthday and the pub was calling their name. I still had an hour and a half to drive, so I hugged necks and headed home. It was so nice to meet them all. They were all gorgeous and fit as fiddles. I felt like a bridge troll. But hey, I kept up with the best of them! In Chucks no less. Speaking of, Dana bought a pair! I swear, if you spend too much time with me, it's bound to happen.

The above picture was taken in one of the antique stores we went into. I wanted to buy this so damn bad. I never even looked at the price. I just knew it would be too expensive. This particular store was quite fond of it's merchandise. $500 for a lawn chair? Okay.

I took 228 photos. I will probably use about 20. Not because they suck, but because who in the hell uploads 228 pictures in one sitting? Not I. I'm sure I will get a lot of use out of them. Also, Dana and Erin? If you have any pictures of me, please burn them. Thank you!

This took some time. It was raining non-stop starting from the early morning. I was drenched. My jeans were too muddy to ever put in a washing machine again. Bye, jeans!

So this is a story about me. A thistle. Do not know what more to add. I'm just not that good at this description thing. There is a story behind, you just have to read the photo.

Back Story .........................................

"Next trip out I will have a 70-300 VR lens with

me for documentation".

And guess what ? This morning I did what I said

I'd do. Here's the proof two flying saucers have

landed close by The Dog Palace.

This photo is taken from the roof as Mama & Rocky

keep a close eye on me and the alien space ships.

Happy As Two Peas In a Pod....;-)

Alright lets get right to business.

No# 1 Wife fell down a few days ago and has

been bed ridden. Slowly, inch by inch she's

trying to get better. For the most part I've

taking up the role as Mr Doctor Mom.

Now I take this responsibility without having

to be asked and I take it seriously too.

We both laugh as both of us are in bad shape.

But there's nothing more important to me then

No# 1 Wife's well being.

So the temple dogs were put on hold today an

possibly tomorrow too. If No# 1 gives me the nod

then I will be out at The Monkey Temple tomorrow.

If No# 1 hasn't improved and no nod is given then

I will remain home and continue my role as doctor.

Now for this photo .........................

Happy Rocky and Legs The Zoomer are cruising by

full of mischief and plan to lick my ears while passing.

Mamas leaning on my body so these two silly dogs

know they have to act all casual until within striking

distance then wham bam lick lick and a quick escape.

As Rodney Dangerfield would say ----------

"I get No Respect, No Respect At All" ...;-)~

OK,

I hear the service bell ringing

so off to serve I go ............

Actually there's no bell I just

like to check on her often .

The bells in my head ..;-)

Thank You.

It’s all grey and black and dark

Rain and mist

I always complain about this stuff

But …I must admit this is the stuff I enjoy cause it matches perfectly with my mood

No, nothing happened, it’s just me

The blacker the more me!

Have a nice day!

Amazing day on the ice! Ice skating has alway made me nervous as I has visions of being skated over, skating over someone or cracking my head open. I gripped to the side looking like and idiot but after many near death experiences, I got the hang of it. It was lovely after that, gliding and watching the other skaters. It's a very New York thing to do and I am glad I got the hang of it. We then went shopping on 5th Ave and I bought a beautiful dress from Bloomingdales. Always wanted to go to that store. It was another beautiful day and tonight I am going to see Mission Impossible 4 with the family.

The RMS Queen Mary 2 is an ocean liner named after the Cunard Lines original Queen Mary, which was in turn named after British Queen Mary of Teck, wife of King George V. It does not commemorate the reign of Queen Mary II. At the time of her construction in 2003 by the Chantiers de l'Atlantique, the Queen Mary 2 was the longest, widest and tallest passenger ship ever built, and at gross tonnage (GT) of 148,528 tons, was also the largest. She lost the gross tonnage distinction to Royal Caribbean International's 154,407 GT Freedom of the Seas in April 2006, but Queen Mary 2 remains the largest ocean liner (as opposed to cruise ship) ever built, and her width, length, and waterline breadth are unsurpassed by any other passenger ship.[6] Moreover, the Queen Mary 2 displaces approximately 76,000 tons; the Royal Caribbean Freedom ships displace about 64,000 tons. The Queen Mary 2 was the first major ocean liner built since the Queen Elizabeth 2 in 1969.
