A night for ghastly ghouls and greedy goblins, for tricks and for treats. And all I can think of is the lurching pass of time, the leaves trickling off of branches one by one, like grains of sand in an hourglass. Winter is well on her way, and she will show no mercy.
The phrase FGS FDS is actually a metaphor for the theory of how everything is put together. In the early days of our universe, an alphabet was made (let's call this the "universal alphabet". It consisted of 48 signs, and each sign told important information about how the universe is working. FGS FDS represents the first two signs of the alphabet. FGS is a metaphor for how the universe is put together, and FDS is a metaphor for how to use it this knowledge for your own benefit.
When the humans constructed their own alphabets, and started to read and write, the most important signs (the first two) of the universal alphabet were made into pictographs. Put together by letters in the human alphabet that was aesthetically similar to the signs of the universal alphabet. To help the mortal humans remember this important knowledge. But like most other important things, the real meaning of FGS FDS was forgot ages ago.

Acknowledging the joint partnership with UNICEF and the Glasgow Games by incorporating children to participate in the Queen's Baton Relay in Accra, Ghana, on Saturday 4 January 2014. Ghana is nation 23 of 70 Commonwealth nations and territories to be visited by the Queen's Baton.
Found this old photo of boats on the river. They ran on diesel engines. They have since been replaced by battery powered ones.

This car won the 1965 12 Hours of Sebring and dominated the 1965 United States Road Racing Championship. It won 16 of 21 races and set the fastest lap in 14 of those races. The Chaparral 2 had 415hp, an automatic transmission, and advanced aerodynamics for its time.
Almost the same set-up as the last pic, but had to add an extra light to define the left leg (right in the image). Ended up having to use 5 lights for this, jeez!
The set-up for this was;
2 speedlights left/right, flagged with cardboard to produce the rim lighting.

Am 21. Jänner 2016 fand die zweite Nachtschicht der Universitätsbibliothek statt. 175 Student/inn/en lernten die Nacht durch für Prüfungen oder sagten der "Aufschieberitis" von Arbeiten den Kampf an.
Neben Workshops der Universitätsbibliothek und der Psychologischen Studierendenberatung sorgte die ÖH für das ausreichend Kaffee, Getränke und Brötchen.
