I'm not trying to make this into some kind of advert but this hotel is wonderfully well decorated. It's packed with design details that make it a really attractive place to be.

One of them is the staircase from the restaurant to the lobby. It features a wall fountain (and there's running water under the steps actually) that's back lit with changing coloured lights.

This Minolta isn't worth much in terms of sales, but it s really good when you take the trouble to use it.

I brought this shot back to life after seeing what Comatosed had done to the previous take and getting some valuable hints from Len Payne. As a photograph it's not as solid (the lighting on the other is better) but this is my first attempt at really working a photo in photoshop. Not easy. Not by a long shot.

Der U-Bahnhof Westpark ist ein Bahnhof der Münchner U-Bahn. Er wurde am 15. April 1983 eröffnet und ist einer der drei zur IGA eröffneten Bahnhöfe. Er liegt im Münchner Stadtteil Sendling-Westpark unter der Ehrwalder Straße und ist nach der Parkanlage Westpark benannt. Die Hintergleiswände bestehen aus gelben, grünen und blauen Wandpaneelen, die oben nach innen gebogen sind. Die Säulen in der Mitte sind mit gelben Fliesen verkleidet. Die Deckenverkleidung besteht aus Aluminium-Lamellen in denen zwei Lichtbänder sitzen. Sie beleuchten den Bahnsteig, der mit Isarkiesel-Motiv ausgelegt ist. Am Westende führen Roll- und Festtreppen in ein Sperrengeschoss und weiter zur Treffauerstraße und zum Klaiser Weg
