This is Thomas and his daughters Allyssa and Rhyly. I was taking pictures of the Keeper of the Plains. These two little girls ran past me on the bridge with their kite in hand. Thomas approached me on the bridge, interested in my camera and my photography. As we talked he told me of his girlfriends interest in photography. I told him about the classes I was taking at CityArts and she might want to check them out.
As we were talking the girls returned and I asked if I could take their picture for this group 100 Portraits. He agreed and I took two, the one posted and one of him by himself. I explained there were some rules on children and I would have to check into them.
This was all very impromptu on my part, no prior anticipation of taking anyone's portrait.
