After 2 weeks of selling my camera and copter equipment I´m ready.:
Today I visited the local camera dealer where I made a reservation for the X-Pro2 and the XF 35 1:2 WR.
5 hours later I can tell you: "I LOVE THIS CAMERA"!!!

Campus at Biosphere 2, near Tucson, Arizona. Biosphere 2 was opened in 1991 to a crew of 8, who spent two years in the completely enclosed environment, who tested our ability to create closed ecosystems that could sustain humans. It was meant to recreate what would be possible on a space colony. They grew there own food, made there own oxygen and water, and had a food system 5x more productive than equivalent space in open space. On the other hand, they broke into two factions that disliked one another, and the closed systems took an enormous amount of external energy to keep them going, as there was no solar energy used. Today it serves as an experimental facility for the University of Arizona.
I just love the lines on this unusual rock, thought I would post the horizontal version of this shot.

Canadian investigators seek seven missing after fire at Montreal building
Police now believe that an Old Montreal fire that killed seven people last March was deliberately set and are now investigating the case as arson. Almost all the people who died were staying in illegal Airbnb units.

The black stork (Ciconia nigra) is a large wading bird in the stork family Ciconiidae. It is a widespread, but uncommon, species that breeds in the warmer parts of Europe (predominantly in central and eastern regions), across temperate Asia and Southern Africa. This is a shy and wary species, unlike the closely related white stork. It is seen in pairs or small flocks—in marshy areas, rivers or inland waters. The black stork feeds on amphibians and insects.
Slightly smaller than the white stork, the black stork is a large bird, 95 to 100 cm (37 to 39 in) in length with a 145–155 cm (4.76–5.09 ft) wingspan, and weighing around 3 kg (6.6 lb). They can stand as tall as 102 cm (40 in). Like all storks, it has long legs, a long neck, and a long, straight, pointed beak. The plumage is all black with a purplish green sheen, except for the white lower breast, belly, axillaries and undertail coverts. The breast feathers are long and shaggy forming a ruff which is used in some courtship displays. The bare skin around its eyes is red, as are its red bill and legs. The sexes are identical in appearance, except that males are larger than females on average.
The juvenile resembles the adult in plumage pattern, but the areas corresponding to the adult black feathers are browner and less glossy. The scapulars, wing and upper tail coverts have pale tips. The legs, bill, and bare skin around the eyes are greyish green. It may be confused with the juvenile yellow-billed stork, but the latter has a paler wings and mantle, longer bill, and white under the wings.
It walks slowly and steadily on the ground. Like all storks, it flies with its neck outstretched. It has a rasping call, but rarely indulges in mutual bill-clattering when adults meet at the nest.
The future of racing looks a lot like the past. This monocoque body houses a gasoline engine, which in turn powers an electric generator which powers the floating wheels. A series of magnetic pulses force the wheel rings to turn. The result is a modern, smooth racing experience with an aesthetic that hearkens back to the early days of auto racing.

This model is the revised version of my old dragonfly. Now, the design is more effective, has a better head , shorter neck, legs with different lengths and it has a segmented abdomen. The design is still based on 22.5 degree angles.
The wings and eyes have a color change, but I folded the model from a single colored paper.
2/2023 - Huntingdon, PA
It was decided to demolish the remainder of the fire/water damaged Blair building in Huntingdon. I forgot about it for a while but make a quick stop while driving through one day. By the time I'm uploading these, there's probably nothing left. The newest addition to the building still stands and I think they intend to keep it. I think it suffered minor or do damage in the fire.
