Over the years I have taken tons of images at the back of the house specifically in our garden. I think this is the first time I have taken from the front of our home. The other Sunday about 6,000 runners came down the road near the beginning of the Hull half marathon . I thought I would take a photo as it was such an unusual event . I took a lot of shots which were mostly dreadful luckily this one seemed to work. I particularly liked the expression on runner number 10446. I hope she finished the course

Il trasporto notturno in quel di Cesenatico odora di metano: è quello degli Iveco Urbanway CNG di Start Ravenna, provienenti da Expo Milano 2015 e impiegati sulla linea serale 1 Gatteo Mare-Porto di Cesenatico. Qui vediamo l'Urbanway matr. 10446 impegnato in una corsa per il Porto lungo il centralissimo Viale Carducci.

Floribunda rose French Lace with rain drops. This is one of the most beautiful roses as seen on a consistent basis.
This was taken with a 3 megapixel Nikon Coolpix 995 camera. I have a Nikon D850 with almost 50 megapixels and this 3mp camera can take acceptable shots in comparison as long as you have enough and the right kind of light.
Resting on the house under the front porch light, captured and taken downstairs to the "studio" for a few photos and then released.

This Wigan based vehicle is captured here in Manchester Piccadilly Bus Station about to operate one of the few remaining journeys numbered X34 to Leigh.

3rd place, Chattahoochee Nature Center/Roswell Photographic Society photo contest, July 2008
I hope you don't mind if I'm tooting my own horn. I was pleased to win the award--and a hundred dollars. The dragonfly is just an inch long (!!), and I shot it with my S5 at 12x zoom, handheld, and then severely cropped it. Fortunately, it printed out just fine as an 8x10.
The framed photo of this and two others of mine join the 1st and 2nd place winners and honorable mentions and other pieces that were juried in for the contest in a traveling exhibit.

The aircraft was built in 2021 and carried the test reg. D-AVWQ. It was delivered as N4048J to JetBlue on 25-6-2021.

Moving onto DublinBus with AV446, one of the final AV class.
The 120 runs with a 20 minute frequency all day, but usually runs from Parnell Street, heading northwards towards Doth Avenue and Ashtown. This results in it rarely being seen in the city centre, apart from a small number of peak time departures which operate from Ballsbridge and operate through O’Connell Street and Parnell Square West to pick up the normal routing.
AV446 is noted still southside on one such departure in the evening. It will follow the route of the 4 and 7 over O’Connell Bridge, before splitting at Parnell Square West and picking up the standard 120 routing.
