Four years ago day for day at 9:32am, I was in awe and clicked. This is taken in the bolivian altiplano, one of the most beautiful, mind blowing and sense defying places on the planet to me: the famous Uyuni salt pan, at an altitude of 3,700 meters, the largest salt desert in the world. A photographer's dream, a place where a lot of things become relative.
In March / April, not all the water has evaporated from the rainy season and the area can become one vast mirror. Quite an experience as you loose all sense of orientation, all elements merge in the horizon. Time and space shift.
Today, I wanted to post something different from my recent Scottish adventures and something that has a special meaning to me.
I will also soon be leaving for a bit of a photographic quest/adventure which will take me away from Flickr for a while. I wish to thank my Flickr friends, bear with me...I hope to come back with some great material.
Anecdotally, I will likely be in this spot again and prepared in 3-4 weeks.

Does black signify strength?
Black is defined as the absence of color. It is often associated with power, fear, mystery, strength, and elegance.
Not the best quality but I hope it will bring back a few memories from a few years ago. If anyone can fill in dates or numbers as necessary please feel free.
