GWR 4073 'Castle' Class 5029 'Nunney Castle'
Preserved and main line certified Great Western Railway 4073 'Castle' Class 4-6-0 steam locomotive 5029 'Nunney Castle' at Tyseley Traction Maintenance Depot (TMD) open day on June 22nd 2013.
5029 was designed by Chief Mechanical Engineer of the Great Western Railway Charles Collett and built at Swindon Works by The Great Western Railway in May 1934 and withdrawn in December 1963. 5029 languished in Woodhams Yard in Barry Wales until it was salvaged in poor condition in May 1976.
