Abandoned Paraffin Pump
A long disused paraffin pump dispensing thingy seen on the forecourt to the Applegreen service station on Main Road Broomfield in the City of Chelmsford in the County of Essex (UK).
I remember these things being on most filling station forecourts from back in the day and I'm seriously surprised this one is still in situ after all these years.
My best guess is this old thing dates back to the early 1980s or even further back into the 1970s.
