GWR 5101 Class 4141
Preserved Great Western Railway 5101 'Large Prairie' Class 2-6-2T steam locomotive number 4141 at North Weald Station on the heritage Epping Ongar Railway (EOR) in Essex (UK).
4141 was designed and built by Chief Mechanical Engineer of the Great Western Railway Charles Collett at Swindon Works in August 1946.
4141 was withdrawn from service on March 31st 1963 then dumped for scrap at Woodham's Yard at Barry Wales where it spent the next ten years rotting before being saved for preservation in 1973.
