Indian PHANTOM poster
The last Phantom piece I collected is one of my favorites: a very large Indian movie poster from the 1940s advertising the serial "The Phantom" with Tom Tyler.
This crudely illustrated rendition of the Phantom has him wearing some kind of helmet with a chinstrap instead of his trademark hood; a pair of loose boxer shorts instead of his usual leather briefs; and bare legs when he should be wearing purple tights. In the upper left you can see "POPULAR PICTURES present", which is probably grammatically correct in Hindi.
Crude. But I love crude.
