Biggin Hill Heritage Hangar.
In the small group my freind John and I was visiting with, was a Fleet Air Arm Pilot from the 1940's.
Laurie Allum flew a number of different aircraft during the war, we managed to get him in the cockpit of this Spitfire F Mk 1X and his son passed him his original flying helmet.
Laurie went into his cockpit checks immediately he hadn't forgot a thing, Paul the tour guide was looking in disbelief we were all chocking back tears.
I have to say this was one of the most amazing experiences I have ever had, totally out of the blue and one that went beyond my wildest dreams Wow.
I have Laurie's son Richard's email and will be sending these photographs in the very near future it made our day really special.
