Day 205 of 365: This is my office cubical
After once again awaking this morning, with the seemingly foreboding and unusually familiar realization, that I was more then likely going to be doing this for the rest of my life, I first took a moment to indulge myself with a fit of overwhelming panic. Then I realized that I had to pee and for one reason or another natures call out weighted my need for self served detestation. After words, I made myself some coffee, and took a few moments to consider other things. Reevaluate stocks as it were. I occasionally wonder to myself. I do do that some times…Wonder I mean, not dodo. Well I guess I do that to, but lets be honest here…Who doesn’t. It doesn’t matter. I’m not prepared to delve into the internal workings of the human bodies waste disposal functions right now, and I’m deviating. I occasionally wonder what it would be like to have a desk job? I do wonder that from time to time. I’ve watched movies like “Office Space” and television programs like “The office” with Steve Corell, and wondered just how accurate they were to the real thing. I’ve never worked in an office. To be perfectly honest, I’ve never worked in anything that even remotely resembled an office. The idea of dressing myself in stuffy clothes, power ties, and fancy britches for no other reason then to confine myself behind a stuffy desk, in a stuffy office for eight or nine hours a day. It’s about as foreign an idea to me as my job might seem to you. Who knows. I might actually like it, given the proper direction and motivation. Though admittedly I can’t exactly say I’m all that anxious to find out. This does not however suggest that I’ve ever really felt like this was my calling in life either. I suppose for now this is my place in the world, and I’ll continue to do it, because if nothing else, I do it well, and it does pay the bill. In the meantime. Well…I guess that’s the meantime.
