Bat for Lashes @ Shepherd's Bush Empire

Natasha Khan, aka Bat for Lashes, played the last show of her current tour in support of her third studio record The Haunted Man at West London's Shepherd's Bush Empire.

The English singer-songwriter played an energetic set, covering her catalogue with fan favourites such as Glass, Daniel and Laura along with good coverage of The Haunted Man.

The London-based singer gave a shout out to her family who populated an entire wing of the level one balcony to rapturous applause from a very satisfied crowd.

Kahn also managed to squeeze in the first live outing of her cover of Fleetwood Mac classic Rhiannon, describing it as "a song by one of my favourite ladies" and taking to a stand-up piano to perform it.

Taking photos at this show, I was left dizzy following Kahn across the stage and up a purposely-placed ramp as she spun, weaved and jumped her way through her set adding energy and character to songs I'd previously never heard live.
