Foo Fighters @ Roundhouse
Dave Grohl of Foo Fighters.
The L.A.-based rockers played a rip-roaring 2 hour and 40 minute set, featuring 27 songs for the highlight of this year's iTunes Festival, held at London's Roundhouse.
The show featured the full Foo line-up of Dave Grohl, Taylor Hawkins, Nate Mendel, Chris Shiflet, Rami Jaffee and, of course, Pat Smear as well as guest stars Lemmy, of British rockers Motörhead, and long time Foo friends Brian May and Roger Taylor of British band Queen.
The evening also featured a genius moment where Foo Fighters front man Dave Grohl personally identified a member of the audience ("stripy shirt guy") who was fighting and had him ejected from the venue!
Check out the full unedited show for free at the on-demand iTunes video stream.
If you like my snaps, please vote for my five photos - Taylor Hawkins, Sheryl Crow, Melissa Auf der Maur, Brandon Boyd and Dave Grohl - over at the NME Amateur Music Photography Awards 2011. Thanks!
