Long story. I am researching political participation in Hong Kong. The group of people I was researching decided to take up residence at the Queens Pier to save it from being destroyed. I have been living with them and observing and interviewing since Wednesday night.
The media has not been so interested in this action since it started. They were around the first night and then they scattered.
Last night, the biggest Asian International Film star and Hong Kong native/hero, Cho Yun Fat came to shoot some film and photos. I took a picture of him signing the banner and taking pictures with some of the people.
Well now the media is interested. The picture is in four newspapers including the South China Morning Post. The gave the group of protesters my picture and they sent to the newspapers. I told the group not to use my name because I am researching and I wasn't sure of the ethics.
