I thought this only happens in movies
When I attended the Oracle OpenWorld 2006 conference I found the change in timezones difficult to deal with. I'd be up at 5:00 every morning. On the plus side it gave me an opportunity to take pictures every morning before my sessions started. When the taxi stopped beside the man hole cover with steam coming out, I immediately thought of those urban scenes from NY City. I'd never actually seen steam come out of a man hole cover before being to San Fran. Do I want to know what cuases that? Please don't say sewer gases. I GIMPed this photo to remove a man standing on the far side of the taxi. His pink shirt threw off the photo in my opinion. I also desaturated all but the orange colours. For some reason I like this photo.
