Ed gardener

Ed is one of the team who looks after the lovely garden at Barnsley House, Gloucestershire where his duties include tending a collection of rare vegetables - including an unusual purpled flowered broad bean and ancient varieties of climbing beans and peas, including some first grown by the Native Americans. He saves many of the rare seeds from these plants for the national seed bank. Ed is also trialling the planting of three different exotic vegetables in a single bed, where they work in harmony to provide nutrients for each other and organically create the perfect growing environment.
