A little blue, some green and a lot of yellow!
I was beginning to think that most of the photos I've been shooting recently are dull, repetitious and lack in interest. A classmate of mine chose a local textile mill for a classroom project and a visit to one of them was pending, I thought.
It was a totally satisfying shoot unlike the last 3-4 times when I took out my camera and wasn't really happy putting it back in my cupboard at the end of the day..
Ahmedabad is famous for its textile mills, which I hear are slowly shutting shop.
These are places full of rich, fresh colour and vibrance with tall stacks of coloured cloth hung on wooden structures to dry. Screen and block printing processes take place here and we got to see some beautiful block work being done with metallic colours.
Blue, green and yellow - My favourite colour pallette:)
