Blue Mushroom

And yes, it is that blue, I adjusted contrast a little........

Although I tried looking this up, I never really found an image that looked like this one, or was the same size (most are very small)

Anyone have any ideas?

(Yea I was told it's probably a Psilocybe ovoideocystidiata of some sort, I have teenagers!)

The North American Mycological Association tallied no more than 23 deaths between 1983 and 2004 - nonfatal poisoning is considerably less so, with nearly 2,100 cases reported in humans during the same period. Mushroom toxins can lead to everything from an upset stomach to liver and kidney failure.

This email discription from an expert: Hi Elizabeth,

This is Lactarius indigo, which seems to be exclusively found with Eastern white pine. It's perhaps the best-known among the very few mushrooms that are blue.
