Sable
One of the best things about keeping breeding herds of sable is that we can attend the daily supplement feeding and walk amongst them.
Occasionally they get a little too close when we are both distracted and then this happens.
As I've mentioned in previous posts the larger of the two herds has now been released onto the whole reserve. They have continued to produce calves and have now started to split into two distinct herds following the (unintended) introduction of another Bull which was found wandering in the main tar road alongside the reserve. It wasn't one of ours so one can only assume that it's an escapee from a neighbouring farm.
