Mosborough Poppies

Spectacular display of poppies in the fields between Mosborough and Eckington's woods, one minute’s walk from The Wheel pub on Plumbley Hall Road. Mosborough is reached from Sheffield's Parkway via the A57 from Sheffield parkway - or via the A6135 starting at City Road. (If anyone wants more detailed directions please mail me on Flickr.)

 

Mosborough is part of the historic county of Derbyshire but has been administered by Sheffield since boundary changes in 1967 and is now considered a suburb of Sheffield.
