Brush Strokes

As we waited for sunset on our first night at Crater Lake, a gentle breeze started up on the far shore of the lake. As it moved towards us, it ruffled up the previously still and placid waters of the lake, leaving waves and disturbed waters where there had been clear blue previously. It took well over half and hour for the breeze to reach us on the southern rim, but we could see its progress the whole way across.
