George Patterson house

George Patterson house, 248-252 George St. Sydney, Australia.

Built 1881-85 as an emporium and from 1931-1960s, the home of The Bulletin newspaper.

Damaged by fire in January 1996 (refer www.photosau.com.au/cos/scripts/ExtSearch.asp?SearchTerm=...) and refurbished inclusive at the ground floor of the Establishment Bar retaining the lines of iron columns and an atmosphere of former glory.
