In March 1977 a newly built Friendly's opened on site, which closed on February 13th, 1981. It became Pfurtscheller's Seafood and Prime Rib on January 25th, 1982, which closed in August 1982, Jimmy's Calabash Seafood in August 1984, which closed in 1986, Peking Garden in September 1986, and Lotus Pond Szechuan Restaurant on June 7th, 1989, which closed in 1998.
