Opened July 11th, 2007
Pictured: auditorium 9, capacity 342
The first auditorium I stepped into was 9, which was about to screen The Muppet Movie as part of the $1 Summer Movie Express series. If I counted correctly this one has about 342 seats, making it one of the theater's largest by far. Sadly, the Muppets weren't as in demand as the seating capacity would lead you to believe: out of curiosity I viewed the Regal app while I was here to see how many seats had been sold, and it only looks like two parties showed up. More parties went to the simultaneous Croods 2 showing, which is a bit of a shame; while the Croods sequel wasn't the worst movie I saw or anything and was decently crafted, it's far inferior to The Muppet Movie, which is a bonafide classic IMO. Kinda wish I had gone to this screening instead of what I did go see, but it's no biggie.
