Dine-in Pizza Huts are becoming increasingly harder and harder to find, with several of them moving into smaller delivery/carryout units nearby or just outright closing. With that being said, I think it's best for me to track down and document all the ones that remain in Hampton Roads before it's too late. However, while this first one I visited is dine-in, things are done very unusually here. This one's setup like your typical fast food restaurant, where you order at the counter, choose where you sit, and refill your own drinks. There are no waiters/waitresses though the super nice manager did bring my meal to the table, which was served on a non-disposable plate and with silverware. The biggest difference of all is the total lack of buffet and salad bars, which were never a part of this location judging by the size of the dining room. So yeah, the way this Pizza Hut operates isn't what I expected at all. This must've been a scaled-back concept they were trying out back in the early 2000s that ultimately floundered.
