Warrington's Own Buses 81
In late November 2019 I made the briefest of visits to Warrington and had a couple of spare hours to observe the town's bus operations. It has been over 30 years since I visited so it was pleasing to see there is still a municipal fleet operating, now running as Warrington's Own Buses.
The 90+ strong fleet is made up of:
32x VDL SB120 / Wright Cadet;
13x ADL Enviro200 MMC;
12x Volvo B7RLE / Wright Eclipse 2;
11x Optare Versa;
9x VDL DB250 / Wright Pulsar Gemini;
9x Volvo B7TL / Wright Eclipse Gemini;
4x Volvo B7TL / Alexander ALX400;
2x ADL Enviro200;
1x Leyland Titan PD2 / East Lancs.
The weather and light were against me this time so lets hope it's not another 30 years before I visit again!
