Southdown pair

Preparations for RetroBus (or the Front Entrance Bus Running Day) in Winchester on Sunday 19th March 2017 were well advanced when I called by on the day before.

 

The event is being organised by Hampshire Bus Preservation and a number of routes will be operating to places including Alresford, Cheriton, Otterbourne and Fair Oak using a good selection of preserved front-entrance buses.

 

Here, Southdown Bristol VR / ECW deckers GNJ583N and EAP984V are seen parked at Winchester Bus Station.
