Five Counts
This is my 5 year old. But what I'm looking at here is the wonderful light. I bought this 5 bulb continuous light off of ebay, mainly for my wife to use but I have been very curious about how they are to shoot with. Taken with a D700 at iso 1250 (super clean on this camera) I am thoroughly impressed. I've used norman studio strobes and packs for the last 25 years and am no stranger to light setups and the many different ways to use them. But the simplicity of shooting with one of these setups is great. You see it and you shoot it. You can shoot at whatever frame rate you want and get sequences and I also shot a little video of them with this light source. This particular light and softbox combo is right under $100 bucks. So if your camera can handle higher ISO numbers and not die, these lights are a great way to get into doing studio lights. The background is just a black bed sheet hung over the curtain rod. You don't have to get too fancy just one light and a bed sheet and you have this type of light.
