This float is dedicated to the Puerto Rican flag, and takes its design cues from the large, stylized metal flag arching over Division Street. The small flag being waved leftmost in the photo is the Grito de Lares flag, symbolizing a failed 1868 uprising against the Spanish government. In the Puerto Rican Day parade on Division Street.
