Blue Entanglement

Doodle drawn this morning with iPad art app ArtRage, using the chalk tool and filling in color with the paint bucket tool. I tried different colors in this, some much brighter and all of them more varied than these blues, but all those other combinations seemed too busy or loud for these lines, so for now I settled on just these four quiet colors -- black lines, white fringing (nearly unavoidable when using the paint bucket), a dark blue background, and a light blue fill. The doodle was originally drawn simply in black on white, so my attention then was entirely on lines and shapes, without any thinking about colors.

I call it a doodle because I made it all up along the way, without trying to make anything look particularly representational, sometimes erasing lines and trying them another way when they were too muddled. However, a large amount of muddled ambiguity seems to be a basic characteristic of doodling and abstract drawing & painting generally.
